https://www.change.org/petitions/ubisoft-entertainment-and-gamestop-change-or-discontinue-the-gamestop-exclusive-in-the-mighty-quest-for-epic-loot/

I made this because nobody else on here has yet. I hope that the developers will notice a whole bunch of agreeing signatures on this, since as so far, they haven't noticed our posts about it.

Game Developers like myself, and many others who play MQEL see this as a completely negative impact to at least a fourth of the current fanbase, which means less overall sales for Ubisoft. If anything, they're hurting themselves with this.

Remember Ubisoft, word of mouth travels very very fast.

I don't agree entirely because they never said this would be the best option ever to buy blings...BUT i do think they could have made this offer after the closed Beta and also offering at the same time a special reward for all closed beta players...SPECIALLY for the high roller customers.
All tis being said, i won't sign but i hope something good will be done without this petition.

They never said it would be the best option, but that's not what I'm upset over. They're valuing "your name in the credits" at about $45 or so. I'm pretty sure that 96% of gamers don't look at the credits, and this game only shows them when you want to see them. It's like the credits after a movie. Everyone leaves when they start, only a few people care to see who made the movie.

Honestly, if Ubisoft and GameStop changed it so you get less than high roller, different flags and such, for the current price, I'd be fine with it. But the fact is you're paying less to get significantly more than the players who paid double.

You need 100 signatures?

That is like 200% of the current active players in the game!

you get your name in the credits with the High Roller package and not with the Gamestop package. Plus you should look at this like paying to help the game along and to make it better and happen sooner. Not get all upset because you helped them and they made another bundle. While im at work i will be heavily advertising the Gamestop bundle because it is a great deal and to put more people in the beta and to try and make the game better. You never had to spend that much on the game you did it voluntary.

Uh, no, I bought the high roller package because of the advantages you gained from it! Ya, I know that it was going to help the game get on its feet but my payment for the high roller pack was NOT a donation; I am not a charity.

I know it's easy to just blow it off when you didn't actually get a pack, but it is extremely frustrating for anyone who actually bought the high roller package, told it was an exclusive package to get tons of neat stuff. I really liked the exclusive high roller pin and now they are just handing out these gamestop packs that have MORE in-game benefits for HALF THE PRICE.

Imagine that you were helping to fund a company. They said that if you donated 1000 dollars to their company that you would be given a special membership that had special advantages within their company once it got started, and that those advantages were unique to those who donated 1000 dollars. Then imagine that 3 months later they were asking people to donate 500 dollars and that anyone who did would gain the same advantages as the 1000 dollar payers plus additional advantages.

Would you be ticked off? Yes, of course you would.

I get your frustration with the fact that UBI is offering it at gamestop at almost half price. But, there is two sides to that coin. They need the game public and they needs funds. They need it brought to a wider public eye. They have MightyQuest on steam but that is not enough so they need to reach out to a bigger crowd. BUT, I understand most PC, XBOX, and PS4 games are 50-60 bucks but that does not give UBI the right to rip off the high rollers who purchases the package online. You cannot let the people who researched the game online, read reviews and watched videos and then threw 100 bucks at you to turn around and sell it at a retail store for 50 bucks several months later. Not to mention the package at gamestop has MORE boosts then the package online. So they are essentially giving the Gamestop package MORE for less. Unacceptable. Great sell it at gamestop, I know you cant sell a 100$ beta pc game at gamestop but again that give UBI no right to do that. Refund 50$ to the people who bought it online. They where the ones who hunted this game down for a reason. Not wondered into some store and just happen to pick it up. The ones who hunted this game down for a reason deserve more. Kind of a low blow.

By that logic, they could easily make money by offering specific items with specific abilities. I would probably pay $10 if it got me a unique weapon, with a unique name, and abilities that increased per level, so that while it might not always be better than anything, it would be worth keeping when I leveled up, until I found a new item which had better abilities.

If they need money, they can probably create items, make more interesting skins, etc etc, which would be things people might want to buy several of (one for each hero) which would not give the feeling that making an early purchase was punishing people for supporting early. To be honest, they could likely fix things, and perhaps revitalize things, if they gave those who already bought another round of benefits, such that they received more for their original purpose, and changed the Gamestop badge to a different flag/signifier.
