I don't understand, the only thing they are good for that i agree with is loot drops, since your killing allot of mobs quickly, but there's certain items that won't drop "Zeke's Shank" "Snotstabber" etc....
The gold and life force is very poor however compared to attacking an actual castle that has allot of loot in it, granted the risk is allot more but so is the reward.
I agree and disagree at the same time, each individual castle does give more rewards than NPC castles, at the same time they take a lot longer too. So I can either raid that NPC that takes 30 secs for 500 of each resource, or I can raid that player castle that will give me 3000 of each but take 4 mins, overall working out to the NPC giving 4000 in the time to get the 3000 from the player, few times does the numbers work where the NPC's lose, even more so with the increased amount of abusive castles and NPC castle's that kills their own creatures with traps.
On a side note I think this speaks volumes about the condition of the game. When a game has got to a point when its more fun to raid the NPC's and people have stopped caring to the point of not upgrading their castle or purposefully upgrading it to be nothing but chickens, you got to step back and go 'Dang they broke it'. I merely hope they fix it.
