1st post. I got this forum to check the community's view on the high w/l ratio of knights, since they are alway the ones rolling my castle, opposed to any other class.
Same for my castle, if Mages or Archers make a mistake they are as good as dead - but if a Knight makes a mistake... nope, he either survives unscathed or barely survives.
I don't want to say that Knights don't die in my castle, they do - in fact most of my attackers do - but, I counted the attacks of the past week (or so) which was pretty clear to me:
- Archer: 10 from 16 attackers died
- Mage: 9 from 11 attackers died
- Knight: 12 of 22 attackers died
to be honest, i was kinda surprised about the amount of archers attacking me - always felt that more mages were attacking me.
But the knight did not surprise me - in the last few days of all attack around 80% of the attacks were knights - and the most disturbing thing was that one knight made a HUGE mistake - he was flung right into my minefield and was hit by around 12 mines simultaniously (fire mines, 800dmg each) - he survived - barely but he survived. His equipment wasn't even that good - as I got flung in my mines i was killed instantly (i had ~1k health less but 150 magic armour more then this knight).
In the recent twtich show of Errok and Ubival, Errok mentioned that Mage and Archer are probably fine but Knights are to week - they have a strong early game but fall off in the higher levles... I hope they consider a decent balancing here because "making them stronger" would make them even more "OP".
If they are to weak on the dmg-side - buff it but take away some of their survivability!
Monsters are already pretty bad to have and most traps do not much against knights - so giving them the ability to be strong against Monsters as well... bad move in my opinion.
Since i don't main a Knight i won't ask for a nerf just because i don't know the class that well.
All i can say is that my castle level 25 with level 24 creatures and traps gets steamrolled by knights who barely use 1 potion, while archers die by the dozens.
I would rather the devs buff creatures/traps.
Why nerf the face when you can buff the fist?:)
Why nerf the face? because, as you said, Archers die in the dozens in your castle - buffing Monsters/Traps just makes it even harder for them (passivly buffing the knight).
